Italy 2005: We have been coming to Italy for the past 10 years but this was our first trip with our teenage children. For the first time I felt we as Americans were just barely tolerated as tourists. Folks were not as friendly and anti American slogans were evident throughout parts of Venice. This was a sad surprise to us. Otherwise, we loved being back. Italy is a beautiful country.

our stay: the staff was very friendly and the room was very nice, however, the hotel is in a little alley, a little difficult tofind. The location however is nice, a quiet spot, walking distance from major sites.

feedback: I have been to Venice at the Locanda Ca'Valeri and I have to say that we enjoyed the stay very much. I was impressed by how clean the room and the bathroom were. The cosy Hotel and the great location will be part of a memorable trip.
